Ms. Hallie Vanderhider served for ten years as President, Chief Operating Officer and member of the board of Black Stone Minerals Company, L.P., a leading private oil and gas fee mineral owner. During her tenure with Black Stone, the company grew from a valuation of $220 million to $4 Billion. Prior to Black Stone, Hallie spent ten years as Chief Financial Officer for EnCap Investments, a leading private equity firm focused on the oil and gas sector, and was previously Chief Accounting Officer of Damson Oil Corp., a publicly traded oil and gas firm. Hallie began her career in public accounting with Deloitte (formerly Touche Ross & Co.).
Hallie serves on the Board for Bright Horizon Resources LLC and Grey Rock Energy Management LLC. She also serves on the Board and is the current President of the Houston Producers’ Forum and is a member of the Independent Petroleum Association of America, the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Energy Subcommittee for the Greater Houston Partnership, the Steering Committee for the Executive Women’s Partnership of the Greater Houston Partnership and is a Director of the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation.
Hallie received a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant.
